When the driver's seat wobbles

Our editorial Peugeot 205 GTI has been given a new lease of life. And, of course, it has not lost one of the problems that characterized it back in the autumn: the driver's seat wobbles. It's not bad, but you can feel it during load changes that the forward-folding driver's seat is no longer firmly in place, but moves a little, perhaps a centimeter.
This doesn't affect driving safety, it's just irritating. It certainly bothers you much more today than you would have noticed 20 years ago, because modern drivers are much more spoiled when it comes to perfection in cars.
Research on the Internet shows that repairing this driver's seat could be more time-consuming than tightening screws. It may even require welding work, as the problem is probably a common ailment of the 205 series. Accordingly, we won't be rushing into anything, as the seat has probably been wobbling for five or ten years ...
