The historic racing season has begun

The new Peter Auto racing season opens in Jarama on April 1 to 3, 2016. A tour of the paddock shows that the start has been a success and that many participants have arrived in Spain despite the long journey. The organizer expects even more participants for the upcoming race weekends.
New in 2016 is Group C, which was previously organized from England. This means that great vehicles from the 1980s will be added, which can still count on a large fan base.
In general, the fields are very international. The atmosphere is cultivated, but not exaggerated and is more reminiscent of the era of gentlemen drivers from the fifties to the seventies than the sterile racing world of modern times. That's a good thing! Then you have time for a fine piece of ham ...
With touring cars, sports cars and sports prototypes from different eras, the field of vehicles is diverse and guarantees attractive racing, so it is certainly worth a visit, even if the events are not as intensively advertised as Goodwood or AVD OGP, for example.
