No April Fool's joke - new Zwischengas homepage

For around three years now, we have shown the same homepage every day and every hour, hardly changing anything, except of course the content, which has of course been constantly updated. But now we are taking a huge leap forward and have completely revamped our homepage .
We wanted to kill several birds with one stone:
- New content is displayed even more prominently
- Images and text are displayed separately
- Twice as many vehicle advertisements are displayed on the front page and, for the first time, parts advertisements are also shown
- Frequently changing and user-generated content has been added, e.g. comments, archived items, etc.
- Other, previously less prominent content categories are now also listed on the front page, e.g. literature reviews, portraits of people, newly added media library content, dossiers, quizzes, etc.
- It is now possible to go directly to the individual content categories on the home page, for which the "more" buttons have been added
- And the front page also needed to be faster
Above all, however, everything should be presented in a more airy and better structured way. We hope that we have achieved this goal. But it is of course up to our readers to decide. We look forward to your feedback!
