Pug's dilemma
11/04/2015
Our Peugeot 205 GTI has proven itself in everyday editorial work. After the one slip-up in Ticino, when it wouldn't start, it has been doing its job with aplomb ever since. However, the list of small things that could be improved at some point, given time and opportunity, is getting longer and longer. For example, it would be nice if the timer could show the time again. I wonder why it no longer does?
But we are more concerned with another question at the moment. Should we really put the pretty Peugeot - we call it "Pug" - through a winter of salty roads and sub-zero temperatures? Should we really fit the winter wheels that came with the car when we bought it?
Or should we take it easy on it, do without its services during the snowy months and wait for the next spring outings?
Difficult! Thank goodness it's still nice and dry now, so we don't have to resolve this dilemma just yet ...
