Ferrari again most valuable brand in 2015

We are currently analyzing the auction results in 2015 for our annual magazine. We have reported on 43 auctions with 3123 vehicles over the last few months and now we want to know what insight can be gained from the summary of the data.
We have compared all brands from which at least 10 cars were auctioned in 2015 and, lo and behold, Ferrari comes out on top, not entirely unexpectedly, with an average price of EUR 1,149,943 per car sold. Bugatti follows in second place with EUR 875,806 and Shelby in third place with EUR 639,203.
Ferrari is also ahead when it comes to the number of cars traded, but only just ahead of Porsche. They are followed by Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar.
It is also interesting to analyze the estimation skills of the auction houses. While they were reasonably correct with Ferrari or Porsche, they were clearly off the mark with Abarth (underestimated) or Triumph (overestimated).
