How do you attract attention?
This weekend, we once again joined the exhibitors and set up our stand (1C11) at the Fribourg classic car and parts market.
Naturally, we asked ourselves which car would be best to place on our 30 square meters to attract the attention of visitors to the fair.
We then decided on a Devin TR from 1957, a plastic sports car with Triumph technology, which we presented in detail some time ago.
Others came up with other concepts. Autowelt Bachmann, for example, brought along a dog-eared VW Golf in blue, which is already a rarity today due to the rust-prone nature of its peers.
The engine and restoration specialist SIM AG even brought a real exotic to its exhibition area, a Bizzarrini Europa (pictured above) with the technology of the 1.9-liter Opel of the time.
From our point of view, however, it was the Grohe dealership that took the cake, as a Georges-Irat NDU from 1937 in largely untouched original condition can hardly be "topped".
We will find out this evening how the various attractions are received by the public, but the interest in the Devin and the many questions about its construction show that it is never completely wrong to put an unknown automobile on an exhibition stand.
By the way, if you still want to visit us, you can do so until this evening at OTM Fribourg, just head for stand 1C11 in hall 1.
