FIVA ID Card - yes, but not necessarily ...
The FIVA ID Card has been documenting the authenticity and historical value of classic historic vehicles for years. This "FIVA passport" is a prerequisite for some events, and it can help with registration and repeated vehicle inspections (MFK, TÜV) or even be required by authorities as confirmation of veteran status. Nevertheless, this document is not without controversy, as the answers to the last" Question of the week - Is the FIVA vehicle identity card worth it?" showed.
Three quarters of the answers were at least partially skeptical, 42% consider the FIVA ID card to be particularly useful for valuable cars, while everyday classic cars can do without it, 34% find the ID card generally superfluous, as the old car documents itself by virtue of its existence.
However, a quarter of respondents (23%) are fully in favor of the FIVA ID card.
