Where have all the pretty girls in the sporty convertibles gone?
Do you remember the sixties and seventies? There were inexpensive sports cars like the Triumph Spitfire, the Austin-Healey Sprite, the MG Midget or the Fiat 850 Spider. And it was not uncommon to see sporty young ladies sitting in them, enjoying the sun and life.
This phenomenon seems to be a thing of the past, because nowadays young ladies prefer to sit in high-riding SUVs and are barely recognizable. Every now and then you might see a girl in an SLK or an Audi convertible, but even these are much less open today than the English roadsters and Italian convertibles of yesteryear. What a shame, really!
By the way, we mark all the photos on Zwischengas that are enhanced by female figures, and they can be admired in a specially compiled picture magic "The woman and the automobile" . The picture shown here of the young lady in the Triumpf Spitfire is of course also included.
