The difference between printed articles in classic car magazines and Zwischengas
Many classic car and youngtimer fans buy their favorite magazine every month at the newsstand or have it sent to them by post. They devour article after article and enjoy the pictures. Many collect the magazines and file them by year. Others cut out articles that are important to them and archive them.
Articles in magazines are (hopefully) the result of thorough research and are published together with selected pictures. Due to the limited number of pages, editors often have to be brief and restrict themselves when selecting images. Once printed, articles cannot be changed and subsequent additions are not possible.
The online world and therefore also Zwischengas work completely differently. An article is never finished and can be continuously expanded and improved. The number of images, multimedia documents, facsimile documents, etc. is not limited in principle and can be added to at any time.
And that's exactly what we do! When we discover new facts or track down new images in the archive, we add to existing articles, insert additional references to other articles and integrate more images. The Zwischengas articles live and grow! Want an example? We have just found some great racing pictures of the NSU TT from the early seventies in the archive and completed the article "NSU TT - an early ancestor of the Golf GTI" accordingly.
