The ski season is actually over, but there will probably still be a little snow here and there. But how can you combine your classic car hobby with skiing?
Here's the solution from Matra-Bonnet! Buckle-on ski carriers as a strap construction. Not lockable, but much more aerodynamic than most of what is on offer today. And if it worked with the long slats in 1964, it will probably also work with the shorter carving skis of today. However, the carriers are probably even more difficult to find than a Matra Bonnet ....
In any case, the advertising snapshot of this Matra-Bonnet Jet 5 from 1964 is a feast for the eyes, not only, but above all, because of the passing Citroën ID 19 and the ski racks ....
