The choice of colors offered to the lucky customer/buyer of a Porsche 356 C Cabriolet or Coupé in 1963 was clear.
Seven "standard colors" - Slate Grey, Ruby Red, Enamel Blue, Light Ivory, Champagne Yellow, Irish Green and Signal Red - and four special colors - Dolphin Grey, Togo Brown, Bali Blue and Black - as metallic shades, that was all the color chart showed. The rest of the accessories list was also comparatively clear and you didn't need a computer to verify the combinability of options.
Obviously there were more popular and less popular colors even back then, or when was the last time you saw a togo brown 356?
