Essen or Dortmund? The main thing is Techno Classica
The first day of the Techno Classica Salon at its new location in Dortmund is now history—and it took the exhibitors by surprise first thing in the morning: Thousands of visitors poured into the halls on Thursday, and it seemed as though every one of them was in a hurry to be the first to see everything—before heading out for a second round to take another, more leisurely look at the coveted exhibits.
A dozen cars were sold right on the first morning, and hundreds more are waiting to be sold.
That is, if you can find them again, because the Dortmund exhibition grounds are quite unique: Not only does each hall have its own architecture, ceiling height, and lighting, but the ground floors are also on different levels. And to make the transition from one hall to the next a truly fun and unconventional experience, the halls on the grounds are all arranged in a slightly staggered pattern.
But what’s far more important is this: The organizer, the exhibitors, and the clubs and associations are in high spirits, staying true to themselves, and—as usual—drawing visitors in with one-of-a-kind items, luxury accessories, gift ideas, a touch of humor, or particularly beautiful vehicles.
But we don’t want to give everything away here; it’s best if you stop by yourself—it’s worth it, and there’s always plenty of room!
