GFG Style has just proved with the Peralta S that new cars can still look good these days. Of course, it's all a matter of taste, but I wouldn't be ashamed to drive up in this two-seater. I'd have to get used to the planned Jaguar for a long time ...
Behind GFG Style is Fabrizio Giugiaro, the son of Giorgetto Giugiaro, who caused a sensation in 1971 with the Maserati Boomerang .
And the Peralta S is indeed somewhat reminiscent of the 1970s wedge, especially as it is rumored that father Giugiaro is certainly helping his son.
However, the parallels are even greater when you look underneath the Peralta S (metaphorically speaking), as the chassis and technology also come from a Maserati, more precisely the MC20. The driving performance is therefore at least as good according to GFG; Giugiaro was assisted in the construction by Manifattura Automobili Torino.
While the cockpit looks conventional by modern standards - the Boomerang was much further ahead of its time - the upholstery of the interestingly shaped seats was spiced up with a metallic chrome effect.
However, nobody has to run to their bank to order a Peralta S, because the car is a one-off, built for the Mexican car collector Carlos Peralta and his sons Juan Carlos and Nicolas. This means that the likelihood of ever seeing this car on the road in our part of the world is very low. But perhaps the aluminum two-seater will make it to the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este.
