The 14 early Porsche 356s from Holland

Dutchman Robert Bröcker (69) is considered the world's most knowledgeable expert when it comes to early Porsche 356s. At the Techno Classica in Essen last weekend, he exhibited 14 examples from his "pre-A" collection for the first time. On the approximately 360 square meter stand, he impressively presented his perfectly restored Porsches, which were true to the original down to the last detail.
Among them was a "Gmünd Coupé" built in 1949 with a hand-turned aluminum body. Only six vehicles in the world are slightly older than this example. The collection also included two coupés built in 1950 with steel bodies and "matching numbers", as well as two Gläser convertibles from 1951 and the Speedster once driven by singer Roy Orbison.
In addition to his restorations, Bröcker is also dedicated to the reproduction of various parts for the early 356s that are no longer available. Around 40 engines were neatly arranged on shelves around the cars. All these wonderful units are brought back to life in an exemplary manner at regular intervals to protect them from damage.
I take my hat off to this superlative collection. It was an absolute feast for the eyes!
