Fúria GT - The one-third Lamborghini

After initially building racing cars under the name Fúria, Ottorino Bianco tried his hand at a GT for the road in 1972. As a technical basis, he chose the FNM 2150, the Brazilian development of the Alfa Romeo 2000,whose four-cylinder engine was boosted from 110 to 130 hp thanks to two twin carburetors and an increased compression ratio of 9.5.
Externally, the Fúria GT aspired to greater heights and presented itself as a rather brazen copy of the Lamborghini Jarama. The interior also followed the model with its leather upholstery, wooden steering wheel, wide center console and lavish collection of clocks with three times the number of cylinders. Only the folding headlights were replaced by fixed twin lamps.
In November 1972, Bianco presented his new Gran Turismo to the public at the Salão do Automóvel in São Paulo. He wanted to produce twelve cars per month. And in contrast to the prototype with a steel body, the series models were to be made of GRP. In both cases, it remained a wish. The Fúria GT remained a one-off.
