Garage geheizt, Aufnahme ca. 1920

The Hotel Goldene Krone in Lohr am Main has existed since 1570. At the beginning of the 20th century, the inn was able to offer a heated garage as a special feature! And it even had its own petrol pump, a great convenience for drivers of a Ford Model A or a Peugeot 201.

Of course, that's all history now. At least the hotel has survived. Today, instead of a heated garage for cars, there is an unheated place to store an e-bike.

However, it's a shame that there are no longer any heated garages today, as it would be easy to find the easiest way to save energy next winter ....
