Neoclassicals may not be good investments after all? (Question of the week)
09/18/2019
Neoclassics are obviously popular, limited edition sports cars are worth more than the original price after just a few years. But will they be able to hold their value when improved successors appear on the market and the cars get older?
In the last question of the week , we wanted to find out the opinion of Zwischengas readers and the result is unlikely to please many owners of new classics.
52.7 percent of respondents do not believe that the increase in value will continue. In their opinion, neoclassic cars will suffer a classic loss in value and will only increase in value again after (many) years.
21.4 percent assume that neoclassicals will be able to maintain their (current) value.
19.6 percent assume that neoclassicals will even continue to increase in value because they are rare and exceptional.
Together, over 40 percent believe that value retention or short-term value appreciation is possible.
6.3 percent did not agree with any of the answers given.
Here is a graphic analysis of the answers:
We thank the participants! The next question of the week is already online. This time, we want to know whether Zwischengas readers can imagine driving an electrified classic/youngtimer.
And, of course, all previous results of the Questions of the Week can still be read in the topic channel.
