Cars in the matrix

The film "Matrix" was released 20 years ago and, together with parts 2 and 3, is considered a major influence on the cinematic science fiction genre. "The Matrix" has now matured into a youngtimer.
What is less discussed than new filming techniques and visualized sound waves from shots are the cars, which also play a fairly minor role.
Nevertheless, some classics were used, such as a Lincoln Continental from 1965 (picture above) or a Range Rover from 1998.
Other cars that appear sporadically in the film include an Audi A4, a Ford F-350, a Ford LTD Crown Victoria, a Mercedes-Benz W115, a Mitsubishi Verada, a Saab 99 and a Mercury Monarch, all of which were built between the 1960s and 1990s.
It's actually funny that a movie set in the future used cars from the past.
