Hibernation is over!
04/06/2019
While winter has really hit Central Europe once again and brought a lot of snow to the roads, hibernation is finally over in England. The blankets can be pulled off the cars and the first attempts at starting can be made.
Everyone is gearing up for the 77th Members Meeting in Goodwood, the first major event after all the winter rallies.
In an incredible field of 60 ultra-fast Minis, which have to line up in two groups for qualifying, the 30 fastest will be decided who will then be allowed to start the race tomorrow Sunday.
The other half can pack up again this evening. It is interesting to note that 38 of the 60 engines were prepared by the "Swift" company. It is therefore clear that these drivers will certainly enjoy perfect conditions. The race is sure to be a huge spectacle for the spectators.
Meanwhile, scrutineering has thoroughly inspected all the cars and approved them for the meeting. As every year, exciting racing fields will be battling it out for victory and defeat this weekend.
We ourselves are as excited as a bow and arrow and will of course keep our readers up to date.
