Modern technology can help, but it doesn't always do so

Instead of finely printed cardboard signs, more and more exhibitors at trade fairs are starting to place tablets next to their cars to provide information about the vehicle data (and prices?). This was also evident at the Rétromobile in Paris .
What actually sounds like a good idea also has clear disadvantages in reality:
Already on the second day, the battery of some of these computer displays gave up the ghost and the tablets remained dark. But even when they were still lit up, it was not always easy to read what the car on display was. On the one hand, the flat screens are reflective, on the other hand, readability suffers from the hundreds of fingerprints and smudges on the displays.
So neatly labeled cardboard signs were really practical, weren't they? Especially as the exhibitors did not take advantage of the tablet, which could display significantly more information in an interlaced manner...
