Classics on the carpet?

The carpet floor is a big topic at classic car fairs. A covered concrete floor makes the fair and the exhibits look more elegant and the exhibition more valuable. This is why carpeting is compulsory at many trade fairs.
The carpet can usually be purchased by the meter from the stand constructor in three or five solid colors, including grey/black or red. And it is usually thrown away afterwards.
We found the approach of the French Amilcar Club at the Rétromobile in Paris at the weekend more appealing. Instead of the stand builder's yard goods, "Persian" carpets were laid out. And the Amilcar looked really good on it, didn't it?
