Finally, the 2018 annual magazine is ready!
It's always a very special moment when you can hold the finished product in your hands for the first time! Yesterday was the day, our 2018 annual magazine was printed. Of course, we didn't miss the opportunity to collect the copies intended for us directly from the print shop, which is always a special moment.
It took almost a year to prepare, as the principle of "after the annual magazine is before the annual magazine" applies. This begins with selecting the topics, setting the focus, determining the authors and then the implementation follows, spread over months. And at the end, there is always a lot of stress, so that all the content comes together exactly to the day, is proofread several times and is finally produced in a new layout.
Originally, we thought that we could simply copy the best online articles into the magazine layout as a kind of annual review, but our demands have grown massively in the meantime. Almost all of the articles have been revised, and around half of the 2018 annual magazine was created from scratch or very specifically modified for the printed version.
We hope that our efforts and dedication have paid off, and we are already looking forward to the feedback from readers.
The magazine is now being distributed, pre-orders will be delivered over the next few days and newsstands will be supplied. Anyone who has not yet ordered a copy and cannot find one at the kiosk can order it from us at any time.
And now a little insider tip. Some readers of the first two annual magazines may have noticed the brown-red "stain" at the bottom of the spine. By around 2027, anyone who has collected all the issues will know what this "stain" is all about.
It should look something like this ... but we still have a lot to do before then (2027).
