The current Star Wars euphoria does not stop at auction houses. Coys published two well-made productions of the Lamborghini Counach LP 5000 S (chassis ZA9C00500ELA12675 ) from 1984, which went under the hammer in the "True Greats" auction on December 1, 2015.
However, despite the good PR idea, the bidders probably didn't want to bid enough for the white Lamborghini, which would certainly have looked good on Darth Vader. Nobody wanted to go higher than £ 190,000, too far away from the estimated price of £ 280,000 to £ 320,000. "Not sold!"
Whether the dark side of the Force was at play here is impossible to say for sure.
