Forgotten cars from TV series - the Lotus Seven from number 6
The television series "The Prisoner" was not blessed with a long life; just 17 episodes were filmed and broadcast in 1967.
It was about an agent (played by Patrick McGoohan) who suddenly wanted to quit his job and was then abducted to a mysterious village as an anonymous number 6.
A Lotus Seven with the license plate "KAR 120C" made a big appearance in the opening credits. The car with the yellow snout practically played a starring role.
It's funny to note that the main actor in the series, Patrick McGoohan, turns off with hand signals. The Lotus Seven was chosen at the time because it supported the individuality and otherness of the main character well and, although it hardly looked like any other road vehicle, it still had a normal road license.
There is of course also a comprehensive report on the Lotus Seven on Zwischengas.
