Forgotten cars from TV series - Hart's Mercedes Benz 300 TD

The TV series "Hart to Hart" always began with a speeding driver and the words "This is my boss: Jonathan Hart, a self-made millionaire". And Jonathan drove a Dino 246 GTS in the opening credits, as he did in the pilot episode. In the individual episodes, cars from Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Mercedes Benz were used to match Mr. and Mrs. Hart's wealth.
Butler Max, however, was usually given the Mercedes Benz 300 TD station wagon (license plate "3 HART"). Presumably for reasons of practicality, as he naturally had to transport food supplies or sometimes a work of art, so a proper trunk was certainly useful.
The beige-brown estate was a 1979 Mercedes Benz 300 TD without forced turbo ventilation. It produced just 80 hp from three liters of displacement at 4000 rpm. From today's perspective, the torque of 169 Nm also sounds modest.
The estate of the W123 serieswas pretty to look at and it is no coincidence that it is considered the forefather of today's lifestyle estates.
