Euro Ferrari Day in memory of Clay Regazzoni in Obwalden
On August 25, 2013, the 5th Benefit Euro Ferrari Day took place in Sarnen (OW, Central Switzerland). Over 100 Ferraris gathered at Seefeld Park on this day despite the uncertain weather conditions. The day was dedicated to the late F1 driver Clay Regazzoni. His wife Maria and daughter Alessia Regazzoni were also present (see picture).
Clay's 1974 F1 Ferrari 312 B3 , with which he narrowly lost the world championship title to Emerson Fittipaldi in the last race, was the main attraction of the day.
The organizers Christian Moser and Jo Vonlanthen were able to sell over 153 Corso rides. The proceeds of over CHF 10,000 will be donated to social institutions in Central Switzerland.
Unfortunately, most of the more than 100 Ferrari sports cars were still in their youth; there were only a few historic vehicles.
