Vermutlich würde man heute kaum mehr Worte verlieren über knapp über hundert Packard-Modelle mit besonderem Design, wenn sie nicht von Howard Darrin gestaltet worden wären. Darrin gilt als einer der einflussreichsten Designer der USA. Seine Kreationen wurden von den berühmtesten Schauspielern gefahren, seine Formen prägten ganze Fahrzeugmarken. In diesem Fahrzeugbericht wird einer von 35 im Jahr 1941 gebauten Packard One Eighty Darrin Convertible Victoria portraitiert und die abenteuerliche Geschichte darum herum erzählt.
