(9th September 1968). PRESS RELEASE ON BEHALF OF J.H.ROBINSON & SONS LIMITED, TAT BANK ROAD, OLDBURY,WARLEY,WORCS. Telt(021-552 2^31 ) The 5^J x 15 aluminium alloy wheels fitted as standard to the new Morgan Plus 8 are the beginning of a major breakthrough into the motor industry according to Mr. Joseph Cheesewright, chairman and managing director of J.H.Robinson & Sons Ltd., the manufacturers. He says: "Our wheels are already fitted to the Gilbern Genie and will shortly be seen on a third high performance British Sports car bearing a world famous marque. We are now talking terms with major British manufacturers, one of whom is interested in fitting them to a GT version of a massproduction model. Negotiations with two leading European manufacturers are in an advanced stage. The . prospects are very encouraging." Mr. Cheesewright stresses that the new wheel has been designed specially to match the weight and performance characteristics of the Morgan Plus 8.
