Classics are used more frequently in everyday life (question of the month)
Nowadays, a large number of classic cars are perfectly suitable for everyday use, most classic cars and youngtimers drive reliably and are comfortable enough to cope with all the shopping, business appointments or vacation trips. So why not use your classic car for everyday driving? However, there are also good reasons to take care of old cars and protect them from rain, snow and overheating.
We therefore wanted to find out from Zwischengas readers how much they use their classic cars in everyday life. The corresponding " question of the month" was: "Do you also use your classic/youngtimer in everyday life?"
And indeed, around a third of readers stated that they also use their classic car/youngtimer(s) regularly/exclusively in everyday life.
However, a larger number, 41.1 % of the more than 300 respondents, only use their classic car(s) occasionally in everyday life, while a further 21.9 % only use their classic car(s) in everyday life.
Conversely, almost four-fifths of respondents use their classic(s) either occasionally or regularly in everyday life.
