Variety at the Bergamo Historic Grand Prix

The Historic Grand Prix took place in Bergamo on May 26, 2024. This is not a racing event, but more of an exhibition race. This beautiful and popular event was held for the 20th time.
At the start were 16 pre-war vehicles, six monoposti, 46 GTS vehicles and almost 70 motorcycles. Two runs of 30 minutes each were completed, which meant that each car covered a distance of around 70 km.
Sunday morning began in beautiful weather with the cars and motorcycles being parked in the allocated pits in the historic old town of Bergamo. Thousands of interested spectators lined the alleys and streets and marveled at the wonderful classic cars. As always, there was also an award ceremony for the most beautiful vehicles.
From 14.00, the rattling motorcycles started their laps around the walls of the beautiful old town. The first group of pre-war cars and monoposti followed later. The vehicles of the GTS group brought up the rear.
The event was perfectly organized under the leadership of President Simone Tacconi and his team. As a participant, you can only congratulate the organization, the participation was a lot of fun.
