Life-size Carrera track - Willow Springs for sale

We all know the problem: you buy a brand-new super, hyper or ultra sports car for a seven-figure sum of money and then you can't drive it anywhere. It didn't necessarily have to be the Koenigsegg Jesko for just under three million francs to zoom along the highway at a maximum speed of 120 km/h. So what to do?
Move to California, for example, and buy a famous racetrack there for less money. After 62 years, the Huth family would like to part with their "Willow Springs International Raceway". The four-kilometer circuit was opened in November 1953 as the first designated race track in the USA. Prior to that, racing had only taken place on converted airfields and the like - or on sand.
The Huths took over in 1962. In the meantime, the lonely track in the desert has become a modern, 243-hectare motorsport facility with several tracks, grandstands and pit buildings. Although a price has not yet been named, a current estimate puts the value at a good two million francs or 2.1 million euros (2.25 million US dollars). This is no longer enough for the royal breakfast egg. But there are some nice toys for the remaining million - for example the entire starting field in the cover picture.
