What it was really like: Mille Miglia in 1953

Anyone who has seen the movie "Ferrari" also got an impression of the Mille Miglia of the fifties. However, there are more authentic films about it, one of which was shot by Shell in 1953 and lasts 37 minutes.

The documentary shows cars, drivers, preparation and race scenes, a really great contemporary document. Absolutely worth seeing. For those who prefer to look at photos, we have recently published a Mille review 1927-1957with many historical photos.
