It has now almost completely disappeared: the radiator grille. Air resistance and pedestrian protection have almost wiped it out. Even the last remaining Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce enthusiasts are slowly abandoning them. All the more reason to commemorate the artistic sculptures and, after more than eight years, to publish a sequel to our car connoisseur quiz on radiator grilles.
Because of course there are far more striking hood sculptures than the ten we presented to you in our first quiz. So, after a few more unusual quiz topics, we have gone back to the tried and tested and selected ten new old radiator figures from our collection of pictures, which we now want you to assign to the correct make or model.
We have, of course, removed any lettering on crests and emblems that may be visible. But the figures are presented exactly as you would find them on the cars. Would you like to give it a try?
