How much is (my) classic worth?
02/22/2022
Zwischengas stores a lot of data, including vehicle valuations from Classic Data. How about looking up the value of your own (or a dreamed-of) classic car?
Here are a few examples:
Rover P6 3500 (1971-1976)
Limousines are thought to have benefited less from the price increases of the decade than sporty coupés and elegant convertibles. The British Rover P6 with a 3.5-liter engine seems to be at least partly an exception, as prices rose by an average of nine percent per year between 2011 and 2019. In any case, you can no longer get a well-maintained P6 with a V8 for four figures.
But the Classic Data market valuation shows even more ...
Fiat Ritmo 75 (1978 - 1982)
It is usually said that the early examples of a vehicle type are much more sought-after than later versions. This should be the case with the Fiat Ritmo in particular, which originally boasted special design features. However, the Classic Data State 2 price differs only slightly from the second series. And these cars have not really increased in value over the last few years. But can you ever find a Ritmo 75 in condition 2? Almost impossible.
The valuations and price trends can be found online.
Maserati Sebring 3500 GTI (1963-1967)
There is hardly a more restrained Italian Granturismo from the manufacturer Maserati than the Sebring derived from the 3500 GT. In the wake of other Maserati sports cars, prices for the Sebring have also risen by around 20 percent per year over the last ten years, although valuations have recently been falling again somewhat.
According to Classic Data, prices of over EUR 200,000 are paid today for a Sebring in condition 2. More information can be found in the vehicle valuation.
DKW Monza
The DKW Monza with two-stroke engine and plastic coupé body is a real gem. Only a few examples were built, yet the compact sports car benefited only to a limited extent from the general rise in classic car prices. Classic Data currently quotes almost EUR 50,000 for an example in condition 2.
