The somewhat larger barn find

Finding one or two old cars in an old barn is something that happens from time to time. But when you discover 174 "stored" vehicles in a shed, that's a bigger deal.

This is what happened in London and of course the "barn find" cars are now looking for a new owner. The entire stock is to be auctioned off.

You can find more information on Instagram under "London barnfinds". A look at the vehicle list shows a whole horde of MGs, mainly MGBs, but also Midget.

There are also lots of Mercedes-Benz SLs and SLCs (107 series) and a few BMWs, including a 635 CSI.

There is also a Triumph Stag and a Spitfire among the 174 cars, several Morris Minors and a Morgan.

For VW fans, there is a T2 Camper and various Beetles. And there is also a Fiat 500.

The question remains as to how this "collection" came about and from what point of view someone bought more or less withered cars together.

Perhaps one of our readers knows more. We like the pictures and don't want to withhold them from our readers.
