For men who smoke cigars (car connoisseur quiz)
Fritz B. Busch once wrote a series of articles under the heading "For men who smoke a pipe". In fact, very few of the cars were really aimed at pipe smokers, but rather at cigar or cigarette smokers (or female smokers, of course).
Interestingly, the British referred to the lighter as a "cigar lighter", whereas in this country it was more commonly referred to as a cigarette lighter. In recent years, smoking accessories in cars have been on the decline, often you even have to order them specifically, otherwise you often get a power socket and a tray, if that.
Car manufacturers have been creative in their placement of the cigarette lighter and ashtray; hardly any two cars have these elements installed in exactly the same place.
But, are you able to recognize a car by its built-in ashtray and lighter? We have dedicated our latest car connoisseur quiz to this challenge and have selected corresponding photos from our extensive archive.
Now it's up to you to identify the cars, will you give it a try?
