The minor and major differences in well-known model series (car connoisseur quiz)
Car manufacturers always liked to remain loyal to a model series if it was successful. Although the models were refreshed or even completely renewed from time to time, they remained true to the series designation so as not to scare away loyal customers and to benefit from the success of their predecessors even with new releases. And the design was carefully developed further in order to demonstrate visible continuity.
As a result, the VW Golf only changed slowly over the years. While the first major facelift modified the bumpers and played with chrome, the Golf II became a little beefier and, for some tastes, a little clumsier. We recognize the differences immediately when we see the cars side by side (as above).
But are we also able to correctly identify the individual characteristics of a particular model in a model series when we have no yardstick for comparison? In our new car connoisseur quiz , we let you put this to the test. Ten models from well-known model series have to be guessed. Give it a try, it's fun!
