Are comfort accessories prohibited for classic cars?
For the fair-weather driver, this question may not arise, or only to a very limited extent: Can comfort accessories be retrofitted to classic cars? I think everyone should be allowed to decide for themselves. The advocates of 100% original vehicles will certainly disagree, but what is there to stop you from installing seat heating or optimizing the heating and ventilation in a classic car that is also used in winter? Modern light sources (and I don't mean LEDs) or windshield wipers with better contact pressure can not only increase driving pleasure in the dark and rain, but also safety.
Anyone who has struggled to park large limousines without power steering will perhaps understand why retrofittable electric power steering is becoming increasingly popular in classic cars. And there's nothing wrong with electronic ignition if the engine runs better afterwards than before.
