The Opel GT as a driving force

The 1969 edition of the IAA 50 years ago used the newly launched Opel GT as one of its driving forces. Although the "Experimental GT" study (pictured below) had already been on show at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1965, it was another three years before the production version was built. From the fall of 1968, the first customer examples left the French coachbuilder who had been entrusted with the task. We wrote about this in a report some time ago.
We didn't have the two photos back then, so we've made up for that.
