Well, that's not quite true, of course. This was no "normal" driving school in 1957. It was the driving school of the Swiss Automobile Club. The press release at the time stated that such outstanding instructors as Villoresi, Kling and Mercedes director Neubauer would train drivers in "tourist class" cars and slowly instruct them "in very fast yet correct driving".
Well, to describe a 300 SL as a tourist-class vehicle is quite something. And you have to ask yourself whether Vettel, Horner and co. would even instruct normal drivers with tourist class vehicles today.
