The years 1987 to 1994 were certainly an exciting time as far as cars were concerned. It was the time of the BMW E36, the Porsche 964, the VW Golf Mk3, the last Ford Escort, the Opel Astra and the Mercedes-Benz 500E. But the newly awakening convertible boom also falls precisely into this period.
It makes you want to read old magazines again and study the purchase advice or test reports of the time.
This is exactly what we offer with our recently launched archive extension on Zwischengas. The AMS volumes from 1987 to 1994, with 70,000 digitized pages (i.e. an average of around 350 pages per issue), can now be searched, read and leafed through page by page.
But beware, searching through the magazine archive can be addictive.
