Page by page - Powerslide (1963 to 1975) in the Zwischengas magazine archive

The racing magazine "Powerslide", which was published monthly between 1963 and 1975, is certainly one of the best journals of its kind. The creators had petrol in their blood, Arthur Blank and Gianrico Steinemann raced themselves, Max Pichler photographed cars almost exclusively in his life. And the international correspondents, including none other than Jim Clark from Great Britain, belonged to the crème de la crème.
Incidentally, the name was coined over a coffee with the future editorial team, during which "Danish pastries" were also eaten. Walter Reisdorf had the brilliant idea. René Schöni, also a racing fan, was responsible for the design.
Blank, Steinemann, Pichler and Schöni wanted to publish a full-throttle magazine and they certainly succeeded.
150 issues have been published, and a total of around 6300 pages of high-quality articles and photos have been published in 13 years. And all of these can now be found in the Zwischengas magazine archive. Page by page, completely searchableor simply to browse through.
