New and more convenient appointment calendar on Zwischengas

After several weeks of preparation and extensive programming work, we launched our new calendar on Zwischengas a few days ago. It is now much more varied and practical. We have already integrated a whole bunch of new features:
(1) Zwischengas users (registered/logged in) can now enter appointments themselves
(2) In addition to the title, appointments can now also contain a logo/recognition image and an explanatory text
(3) In addition to the appointment overview, there is a detailed view for each appointment.
(4) The next events are now also displayed on the start page (see image above).
(5) Organizers can have their events highlighted (for a fee); depending on the display, they then appear with a colour bar or even with a logo and short description
Further functions are already planned. It will soon be possible to upload pictures of events, users will be able to remember the dates that are important to them and be notified of registration deadlines and the like in good time. In addition, the event calendar and announcement reports as well as event reviews are to be linked.
And perhaps one or two readers will have further ideas on how we can further enhance our events calendar. We are all ears. However, we can only implement the new features step by step.
We would like to ask event organizers to check their dates on the new calendar and to enter future dates (e.g. for 2018) already.
