Faster and more convenient - new overview pages per newspaper, catalog, brochure, etc.
02/17/2011
It often happens that you are only interested in certain pages of a newspaper, catalogs, brochures or manuals stored on zwischengas.com, or that you want to jump from one page (e.g. the table of contents) to a specific page further back. Previously, you had to go sequentially through the entire newspaper or catalog and "turn" page after page. This cost time and nerves.
We now offer an overview page for such related information objects, primarily newspapers, magazines, catalogs, brochures and manuals. This can be accessed from each associated individual page. Under "Display" there is a new link "Overview of all pages", currently also clearly marked with "NEW". This then leads to the overview page, which in turn has a scroll function for large documents (a maximum of 48 pages are displayed on an overview page). Clicking on one of the individual pages displayed takes you directly there. For large documents, we have also created the option of jumping forwards to the last overview page or backwards to the first overview page.
One more note: The overview pages are of course not there to read the text on the individual pages displayed in small print, but only to determine whether a page is relevant or not. If you leave the mouse pointer on a page displayed in small print, the document name including page number appears for most information objects. Would you like an example? Just click here and jump directly to the overview page of the 1978 catalog.
We hope that these new overview pages will enable our members and readers to find the information they are looking for even more quickly and discover new content at the same time. For further user tips, simply click on the corresponding "tag" below this blog post.
