Rétromobile Paris - one of the most beautiful classic car fairs in Europe
Paris is always worth a visit, especially when it comes to classic car fairs. This year's Rétromobile once again featured some wonderful exhibits. Rick Hall, for example, showed everything that was good and expensive, e.g. Jaguar C-Type, D-Type, Alfa Romeo P3, Talbot, Osca MT4, etc...
Fisken had a beautiful worn Jaguar C-Type and the 12th Lightweight E-Type on the stand.
Of course, the auctions were again very interesting. While Artcuriel offered a lot of "normal goods" in the exhibition hall (with the exception of the Invicta low chassis coupé and the Bugatti 57C Atalante, which was surprisingly cheap) and reportedly sold 86%, Bonhams only sold the Bugatti of the three highlights (2x Alfa Romeo 6C 1750, Bugatti 51) in the beautiful world exhibition hall (which reportedly cost half a million euros to rent for a week). According to insiders, the quota also seems to have been rather moderate.
All in all, for me the Rétromobile is one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful classic car fair in Europe.
