Better fully comprehensive cover for the classic/young car

By law, classic car owners must have liability insurance, but partial or fully comprehensive insurance is optional. Depending on the value of the vehicle to be insured, these types of cover can be relatively expensive, but they also prevent a total loss in the event of theft or a serious accident.
This naturally begs the question of how the average classic car driver insures his car. And the answer to our question of the weekis : better than expected.
In fact, half of those who took part in our survey said that their classic car is fully insured, i.e. with partial and comprehensive cover. A further 22% choose additional partially comprehensive insurance in addition to third-party liability.
14% even go as far as the highest possible level of protection, also providing cover for technical damage and opting for so-called all-risk cover.
Only 8% leave it at just liability insurance.
