It's already in full swing, the 2016 edition of the Mille Miglia, which will once again bring together some of the most beautiful cars of all time from May 19 to 22.
But the Mille Miglia could soon become the Mille Trecento. Trecento for three hundred.
There have perhaps never been as many Mercedes-Benz 300 SLs on the starting grid as this year, certainly not in the years 1954 to 1957.
With 28 cars, it was by far the most numerous vehicle type represented.
You already got the feeling of a one-make cup.
Fortunately, the cars are an absolute feast for the eyes and therefore you can hardly get enough of them and with almost 450 cars, these 28 don't really matter.
