A long and hard winter rolls in
10/10/2013
American climate models are predicting a harsh and long winter. With a probability of around 70 percent, temperatures are expected to be around half a degree below the long-term average and January and February 2014 in particular are expected to be cold and snowy. Winter is also expected to extend into the spring months again.
That sounds pretty similar to what we experienced in the winter of 2012/2013. Only winter sports enthusiasts and the tourism directors of excursion destinations geared towards skiers can be happy about this, but not so much classic car enthusiasts.
There's only one thing to do: make the most of the next few warm and sunny days and take another intensive drive in your beloved classic. Because winter is sure to come ...
And for those who want to get in the mood, we recommend our picture magic "Automobiles in the snow" .
