In order to detect leaks in the door gaps, window seals and luggage compartments, Pontiac carried out spray tests on the Catalina, Grand Ville, Grand Prix and Le Mans models 40 years ago.
However, these spray tests were usually carried out without the support of Miss Nancy Spiess, who can be seen in the picture protected by an umbrella. At least that's what the AR correspondent at the time reported.
