VW Karmann-Ghia for all heel heights of the women's shoe

Women were an important target group for Volkswagen in the positioning of the VW Karmann-Ghia. Accordingly, the sales brochure was designed with the typical demands of women in mind. The vehicle was to be drivable with shoes of all kinds .
The description reads as follows:
"Non-slip accelerator pedal with a wide, rubber-covered tread plate; comfortable and easy to operate - suitable for all heel heights of women's shoes. Insensitive, color-fast rubber mats as floor covering; nubbed carpet of the front wall, the frame tunnel and the lower rail".
Obviously, not only safety, but also the protection of the shoe was taken into account!
